Remember, we must not forget that 12 million people have been killed by the Nazi-fascist criminal idiocy, that such violence (albeit with other names) had already perpetrated massacres and did continue to commit after that. History has taught us that fools and criminals may come to power and that if he is allowed to do exercise it without limits, it is like other men, with only so much hatred and so much more boundless egotism, men indifferent to the pain and suffering of others. Still history has taught us that if the worst crimes stem from ideologies sick from the minds of men ruthless machinery of torture and murder there have always been ordinary men.
Jews, Gypsies, Slavs, Poles, Russians, Jehovah's Witnesses, political opponents, the sick, homosexuals and all the others have not been physically killed by Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Pinochet, Pol Pot and all the other horrible monsters that have given the order, but by those who have obeyed.
The responsibility is no different, or want to believe that those who believed in the horrific and disastrous news of racial superiority, who has turned his eyes, who carried out the orders on time is less guilty than those who killed and who ordered it ?
If we remember those killed and we want honor his memory we must have the consciousness of guilt. We must know that those acts took place, knowing that they were committed by men on other men and that the sentence is common, morally no one can escape from.
Today it is said that it was foreseeable that if he knew ... And now you know what has changed? Even today there are collateral victims, even today there are concentration camps (and there are many more than is commonly want to believe). Even today there are those who preach guilty, stupid and criminal racism, some people weigh their language, the color of their skin, by way of looking. We are sure that you have learned your lesson? Or perhaps today we are blind, blinded by our apparent calm and we are quietly waiting for the next horror to come back to say that we must remember that we must not forget.
